Akshay Kumar Spreads Diwali Cheer by Feeding Monkeys in Ayodhya

Internet Desk: Renowned Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has once again showcased his generous spirit by arranging a special feeding program for monkeys around the Ayodhya Ram Mandir during Diwali. His initiative aims to ensure that the monkeys, often overlooked, receive food and care, while also minimizing any disturbances for the thousands of devotees visiting the temple during the festive season.

A dedicated feeding van was dispatched to cater to the hungry monkey population near the temple, reflecting Kumar's ongoing commitment to this cause. This initiative has been a tradition since the Ayodhya Mandir's inception, and the actor has actively participated in providing for these animals, ensuring that around 1,200 monkeys are regularly fed in a secure area on the town's outskirts.

In an interview with a national media outlet, Akshay Kumar shared his motivation behind the program, stating, "It was sad to learn about the challenges faced by monkeys in holy Ayodhya. I want to do my best for them. On the occasion of Diwali, I arranged to feed the monkeys in the name of my parents as a tribute. I hope they will be happy to see this."

The initiative has received praise from local leaders, including Ayodhya president Swami Raghavacharya, who commended Akshay Kumar for his service to both devotees and mute beings. He expressed hope that Lord Rama's blessings would continue to be upon the actor and thanked him for his compassionate efforts.

This isn’t the first time Kumar has made headlines for his philanthropic work; he previously donated ₹1.21 crore to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund during the COVID-19 pandemic and contributed ₹25 crores to various charitable causes. His latest initiative reflects his ongoing commitment to social responsibility and compassion towards all living beings.
